The primary means of transportation in Qatar is by road. It has an advanced road system with several highways and new expressways within Doha. A large bus network connects Doha with other towns in the country, and is the primary means of public transportation in the city.

Currently there is no railway system in the Country.

Doha international Airport is Qatar's main airport. New Doha international Airport is under construction & will replace the existing airport in 2011
